The thickest and most robust variant of the product range, specifically designed for treating fractures. Does not yield even under the heaviest stress.
Particularly easy and safe for the immobilisation of fractures in the lower extremities, can also be used for wrist and metacarpal fractures when these require extremely firm support. As several Woodcast® splints can be connected to each other, this gives a multitude of further application options.
Due to its radiological permeability, the splint no longer needs to be removed for follow-ups. This variant does not feature prefabricated perforations (incisions) and is intended for use in ergotherapy. The coloured variant contains only non-toxic pigments which do not stain clothes or skin.
