A pressure relieving and stable sitting posture is important for patients who are forced to sit all the time. TEMPUR® wheelchair cushions and Comfort seat cushions adapt to the body's shape due to the viscoelastic and thermoactive properties of the material. The contact area of the seat is increased and the pressure load is distributed across the entire surface. This relieves predisposed parts of the body such as the ischial tuberosity and trochanter. The risk of pressure sores is reduced considerably. In addition, patients are able to sit in a stable and relaxed position. The physical properties of TEMPUR® prevent the so-called floating effect.
The PU cover is wet-proof, breathable and machine washable (95°). It can also be cleaned and disinfected with conventional cleaning agents used in hospitals.
