The TEMPUR-MED Care-14 hospital mattress (PU cover) was developed specifically for the prevention of pressure sores. As a clinical mattress in hospitals and nursing homes, this mattress contributes to efficient decubitus prophylaxis management. With its 2 cm thicker polyurethane foam layer as a substructure, the lying comfort is even better when compared to the Basic nursing bed mattress.
Blood circulation and thus the oxygen supply to the tissues can be improved. In addition, the TEMPUR-MED hospital mattress largely absorbs specific pressure triggers such as catheter tubes, wound drains or cables due to its viscoelastic adaptability.
The PU cover is wet-proof, breathable and machine washable (95°). It can also be cleaned and disinfected with conventional cleaning agents used in hospitals.
